Dr. Melissa Kennell has been practicing in the Lakes Region since 2006. Graduating Magna cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in Psychology from Southern Methodist University of Dallas, Texas, Dr.Kennell continued her education at the State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Dental
Medicine. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, graduating Magna cum Laude and in the top ten of her class.
Dr. Kennell regularly attends continuing education courses nationwide to stay abreast of the current techniques in the fields of pediatric dentistry and Invisalign. In addition to her membership with the American Dental Association, Dr. Kennell was the 2021-2022 State President of the New Hampshire Dental Society. Dr. Kennell was also inducted into the International College of Dentists in 2023 for her outstanding leadership during her service to the New Hampshire Dental Society. Dr. Kennell’s work with NHDS created vast improvements on the state and national level, such as increasing access to care for patients through the creation of the Qualified Dental Assistant Program (QDAP). The creation of this program demonstrates Dr. Kennell’s strong leadership and dedication to her community.

Dr. Matthew Smith received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington and a Master’s Degree in Oncological Sciences from the University of Utah. While he began his post-graduate work in the scientific research field, Dr. Matt quickly realized that he liked to work with people rather on projects. Changing career paths, he graduated from the University Of California San Francisco School Of Dentistry in 2004 with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He earned his Pediatric Dental Certificate from Children’s Hospital Michigan in Detroit.
Dr. Matt is a member of the New Hampshire Dental Society, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Dental Association, as well as board certified through the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Matt grew up in the Monterey Bay Area of California. He, his wife, and their two kids have lived in Plymouth for several years. Living in northern New Hampshire, Dr. Matt loves the outdoors, including swimming, white water kayaking, biking, hiking, and playing sand volleyball.

Dr. Tim Smith received his BA in Biology from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. After his undergraduate studies, Dr. Tim followed in the footsteps of both his father and brother (our very own Dr. Matt) to become a dentist and graduated from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. He continued his training at Children’s Hospital of Michigan for his Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Tim is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the New Hampshire Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Originally from Santa Cruz, California, Dr. Tim currently resides in Plymouth with his wife and their dog, Bessie. He enjoys hiking, snowboarding, wrestling, soccer, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and trying new foods. Additionally, he is an assistant wrestling coach at Plymouth State University, where he helps student athletes create and reach their athletic goals.

Dr. Jonathan Kremser attended Millersville University for his undergraduate studies where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology and was the team captain for the Marauders baseball team. After his undergraduate studies, he attended Virginia Commonwealth University’s dental school in Richmond, Virginia. Following dental school, he took a residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he specialized in treating children and their families.
In addition to being board certified through the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Kremser is an active member of the New Hampshire Dental Society, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Kremser resides in Moultonborough with his wife Heidi and their two children. Cale loves skiing and riding his bike, while Sage loves to sing and dance.
Dr. Kremser enjoys spending time with his kids at their sporting events and being a helpful neighbor and friend. He is passionate about all things outdoors, including canoeing, fishing, boating, hunting, fishing, and hiking with his family.

I’m excited to bring my experience as a compassionate general dentist in our community to Children’s Dentistry where I hope to strengthen the bridge from pediatric dentistry to adult general dentistry with a focus on adolescent oral health.”
Dr. Perry received her DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, in Boston, MA, in 2011 and completed her General Practice Residency at the University of California, San Francisco in 2012. She began her career in a community health center in Northern California then joyfully returned to New England in 2014. She was the dental director at Mid-State Health Center from 2014-2026 where she worked as a public-health focused general dentist, providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. During that time she developed dental programs at local schools and nursing homes and taught Dental Residents from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine’s Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program.
Dr. Perry has served as the Community Program Representative and Board President for the New Hampshire Oral Health Coalition and trustee for the Lakes Region on the NH Dental Society Board. She is an active member of the ADA, NHDS, and LRDS. She served as the public health dentist representative on the NH DHHS Medicaid Adult Dental Benefit work group which played an integral role in developing the first ever adult dental benefit for NH Medicaid beneficiaries. The impact of this work has been immeasurable, restoring health, dignity, and hope for people around the state. Dr. Perry continued her work with NH Medicaid on the Dentaquest Advisory Committee for three years.
In 2017 Dr. Perry received the Community Service Award from the NHDS, in 2020 she was recipient of the Public Service Award from the Bi-State Primary Care Association, in 2023 she received the NH AHEC Preceptor Recognition Award, and in 2025 she received the Oral Health Champion award from the National Network for Oral Health Access.
Dr. Perry is especially interested in dental health as a component of overall health, disease prevention, minimally invasive techniques, and airway development.
Dr. Perry grew up in Massachusetts and currently resides in Rumney, NH with her husband, 2 children and their dog, Clementine. She came to this area to embrace the natural beauty of the White Mountains and to enjoy outdoor activities with her family like hiking, swimming, skiing, climbing, and mountain biking. She loves spending time in her gardens, practicing yoga, reading and exploring the world.
